Meet Dr. Martha E. Allen
ND, LAc, MSOM

Dr. Martha E. Allen is an Athens, Georgia native who graduated from Athens Academy in 1991 and Rhodes College in 1995. She later went on to attend the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Over the course of 6 years, Dr. Allen earned a Naturopathic Doctor, ND, degree and a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine, MSOM degree. She is a licensed acupuncturist, LAc, and a licensed naturopathic physician.

Dr. Allen has a passion for Integrative Medicine and helps her patients to cultivate optimal health in their lives by combining the best of conventional modern medicine and Naturopathic Medicine. She has been in private practice for over twenty years— since 2005. Dr Allen considers it a privilege to work with her patients to cultivate optimal health through modalities including Naturopathic & Botanical Medicine, Homeopathy, Diet & Nutrition, and Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture.

As a breast cancer survivor herself, Dr. Allen has a special empathy for her cancer patients and loves helping her patients to THRIVE after active cancer treatment. Integrative therapies can help to reduce the side effects of active treatment while also reducing recurrence risk for cancer survivors.

In her free time, Dr. Allen enjoys spending time in nature, gardening, traveling, cooking, and time spent with friends and family.
